I have not used one of TCI’s bolt together convertors, but I have used one of their other convertors and it was JUNK. Their warranty is even worse than their convertor. Even if the bolt together convertor is a good piece do you want to buy from a company that will not stand behind their product?

I do not know if the "bolt together" torque converters are any good. As far as their earlier stuff for overdrives (700R4 & 4L60E), the comeback numbers weren't good. Only B&M and GER (now defunct) were worse. I will not warranty any of my transmissions with a TCI torque converter if front of it. I hope they have improved.
