Default 4l60e troubles

Alright so I put in a 4l60e and it won't go into any gear I disconnected a cooler line and it has a big flow of fluid so I believe there's pressure any ideas? I pulled it again to check it out any key things I should be looking for I also noticed 2 of the Tc bolts were snapped off hoping I didn't mess up the pump but that's what I'm guessing

Look at the level on the dipstick with the engine off. Then compare it to with the engine on fluid level. If no change, pumps bad.

If you have good flow with a cooling line disconnected then your pump is good.
The dipstick test method works too and sure is easier as long as you can read it accurately.

Assuming the converter is working, a torn input drum (where the input shaft enters) is the next most likely problem area. I recommend that this area be reinforced in all performance builds with the Sonnax input drum reinforcement ring kit.

Yes, if you have cooler flow, the pump is at least still functioning. Its actual condition is unknown, but at least it still pumps...

But, it definitely sounds like something broke. It could be any number of things. You'll have to pull it apart and look...

Converter prolly took a dump. Could be the planet, but you would still have some movement.
Sounds like it's in the crapper either way.
