4L80e direct drum bleed hole: did I screw up?

Default 4L80e direct drum bleed hole: did I screw up?
So I drilled the 1/16" bleed hole in the direct drum per Jakes instructions but my angle of attack was too upright I guess and the hole didn't end up exiting right on the edge like the pic shows. Am I screwed?

If the hole is on the edge inside the drum, No harm/No foul.

That is a good location. You did not score the sealing surface for the piston lip seal .
