Alright guys we're looking for some feedback! What kind of fluid do you guys like to run in your transmissions? What's your perspective on fluid?EX: Is oil just oil to you guys or are you looking into see what you can do about the best possible fluid for your transmission?

ALSO if we changed this sale to offer the kit for 4L60Es, 4L80Es, 6L80Es, etc. as well who would be interested?

According to a couple of independent oil testers (this was a few years ago) consistently for well over a decade, Amsoil was #1 and Redline #2 for transmission oil. I have not heard of or found any changes in their formula from my research. So I would say their oils are just as good as before.

My preference is to continue using Dex III (now simply called Dex/Merc since Dex III is technically discontinued) in older transmissions such as 4L60E, TH350 and such. I'm well aware that Dex VI is supposed to be backward compatible, but I believe it's a semi-synthetic so I'm not entirely comfortable with it for all applications.

I use the cheapest fluid that I can find that the manufacturer calls for. I have had transmissions go over 200k with cheap fluid.

I get Castrol or Valvoline Dex/Merc, whichever is on sale.
