Converter identification help

Default Converter identification help


All this converter says is "LS SINGLE 258MM 7-1092 it's brand new and has an fti sticker on it. It's been on my shelf too long to remember what it was for. The base of it is billet so I think it's a higher end converter.

Also what's weird is I count 40 splines when I look in it on the input shaft. Sorry it's actually 36 splines!

On the side of the converter that goes inside the transmission... there should be 4 numbers stamped in it.
for example 3082, 0391, 8082

EDIT: On the splines double check you're count... the smaller diameter set of splines should be 30 spline if it's still for an LS(98'-Up 4L60E) style input.

The only numbers stamped on it are 19 and that's on the side that goes into the transmission. As far as the smaller splines there are 36 of them. I went home and counted them 3 times lol.

Sorry I saw LS single and assumed 4L60E... the 36 spline is for a 6L80E transmission.
