Buick trans to ls
I'm working on a trade deal, and included in the deal is a built th350 trans, that has a olds bolt pattern. Specs are:
Turbo 350, Olds motor bell housing. 4 passes.
Reverse manual valve body, transbrake.
It has all green clutches, 5/5 clutch packs, and 36 element drum. Big pan, Hughes scatter shield and dipstick. Works perfectly fresh build
I'd like to run it behind an ls, I would sell and get a different trans but seems it might be a tough one to sell.
so are there and adapters or way to swap bell housings? Guy said something bout laser cutting and welding on new bell but not sure on that one.

You can cut the bell off and go to an Ultra-Bell bellhousing.

I agree that its probably not a hard sell. I suspect there is a relative shortage of BOP transmissions and therefore seems a shame to cutup a "rare" item to turn it into a "common" item.
