converter recommendation / thoughts / experiences
im thinking going with a 3600 stall.
too much? too little? or just right for a street only car?
discuss...
I'm currently 3.23s' with Yank SS3600 and is very close to stock in city driving. AND I've let others(that had concerns about how it is in city driving) drive it and they agreed how street friendly it is.

On the same setup a PT 4000 will 60' better than a ss 3600.
The PT 4000 will give you better shift extensions and trap a mph or two better than the ss4000.
If I were you I would go with the PT 4000.
3.73 puts a hard limit on mph without going to overdrive. So when I See this, I know the car has no power, so better take advantage of the displacement available in lower rpm.
I chose the lowest stall 9.5" they make for my turbo/4l80e swap, because when the engine has a mild to stock camshaft you can trap air nicely in the lower rpms, where the vehicle is much more efficient economically. This is strictly an economy bonus. We are giving up whatever additional power the engine would have made with a higher stall for more economy on the street. Which you may not care about at all, or some, it depends how you want the car.
PAS(Power Adder Series) is based off the SS converters just more friendly to a power adder as the name suggest.
5c converter is a 4000 stall.. im still running 3.23 gears. Im also running TSP 233/239.. it drives like stock. I wouldnt settle for less than a 4000. My first stall was a 3200.
