Circle D , Fti , or Yank?
So I'm getting ready to pick up a converter for my V and narrowed it to the 3 companies named. All have good reputations and service two are the same price the other is about $100 more. So what would put me over the edge to buy from one of the companies?
The converter is a pro grade triple disc if it matters.

I also have a CircleD triple disk and am perfectly happy with it; it is very tight for street driving.
Previously I had a Yank SS3600 and I was also very happy with its tightness for street driving.
FTI is much more active lately helping on this forum and that shows their dedication to great service.

I just placed an order with FTI for trans and converter on Wednesday or Thursday last week. It shipped yesterday and will be here Thursday. It is my first experience with them but I can say my purchasing experience was a great one. I've had a Yank product in the past and was more than happy with its quality. No experience with circle d here. I'd imagine you can't go wrong with any of them.... but simply based off of how well I was treated on my purchase with FTI I'd highly recommend them. Unfortunately it's about 7 degrees here so I won't be able to give any solid reviews on the performance of their product for a few months.
I would also add that precision isn't commonly mentioned on this forum for some reason, but I currently have a precision in my car and have had a precision once before. I've been extremely happy with their converter as well. Worth a phone call anyways.

Circle D Is the most expensive of the 3 which is only by $150 or so. The other two are on par just wondering if it's worth the extra money reviews say all three will do a great job.

FTI are great. Not just the products, but the people there are super nice and always willing to talk and answer any questions. Not just the customer facing positions like front desk either - I was lucky enough to get the shop tour a few years back and even the builders and tech guys were polite and willing to talk. It was awesome.

I'm sure they are all good, my vte is for circle D just cuz I have experience dealing with them. Converter is fantastic - it behaves exactly like they said it would while I was shopping for one. I came across them while searching for converters on here when I needed one in a hurry.

The parts on these three manufacturers are just about identical.
From my experience, the builder determines how well it will work.
One of these places gave me one that was exactly what I said I didn't want.
One gave me exactly what I wanted AND let me watch them build it.

I've never bought any products from Circle D or FTI so I have no personal experience with them either way, but they both seem like fine companies.
I've been extremely happy with Yank products and service. My *only* complaint about Yank is that they stopped making my favorite street converter series (SuperYank).

Any specific reason you didn't stick with FTI for your converter on the th400 swap? Just curious... I just went with them for everything I got for the th400 swap. Actually driving to local ups freight terminal tonight to pick it up!
