4R70 to LS motor
Bolts right up, there are companies that make the trans crossmenber ready to bolt in for an ls with 80e, etc
You could control it with the factory ecu
Lots of positives for going with an 80e
For 500 HP I think the 4l60e is quite a viable option.
Back to your question at hand tho, instead of totally steering you away from your plan. I'm sorry but I don't know of any company that makes an adapter plate. I would look into a complete bolt on bellhousing from someplace like quick time and see if you can cut the bell off your 4l70 and get it to match up.

i have tryed to talk with a few people but it never goes anywhere. they never reply back or call back or anything. they do make one for a AOD butt from what i was told the bolt pattern is not the same.

So, you should be able to use the bellhousing for the AOD on your 4r70. I would call JW to be sure but If the bolt pattern is the same, I don't see the issue.
You'll just need to keep a close eye on converter spacing and stuff like that.
If you're only planning on 500HP, then there are plenty of reputable builders that are up to that task with a 4l60e.
