Default Th400 swap

Alright guys I need some help, I have a 2000 z28 car with a 6.0 iron block bored to a 6.2, I have a built 4l60e in the car right now and looking for a th400. Someone near me has one that came out of his lt1 camaro and comes with converter and fill tube for cheap. I was wondering if this is a direct bolt in other than the crossmember and driveshaft fittament issues?

Bolts right up. Won't use all the bolt holes though.

As mentioned, you will need a different flexplate. TCI #399753 or equivalent. You will also need a converter for your combo.

I am in the process of doing this right now...

As others have said..

You'll need proper flexplate/converter combo, driveshaft, trans crossmember, shifter, and you'll have to rig up a new vss input and loop some wires for neutral safety switch. Haven't done the wiring or shifter yet myself but everything else is in.

I bought all my stuff new from FTI and they sent me everything I needed with the exception of shifter and wiring.
