Default Pre-'97 4l80e issue (on 2000 model install). Need Advise.

I recently ordered a built 4l80e from a person/company with a great online reputation for my Silverado 6.0/4l80 swap.
I went ahead and bought most of the supplies needed for this swap. I even bought the special -6 fittings in order to do the cooler line upgrade.
I assumed that it would be a 97+ model 4l80E. When I received it today, to my surprise, it is a pre-97 model. I noticed the cooler lines are different but that doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. I also know that it has less bolt holes.

My question is how does this change my swap? I will be using the factory ECU in the 2000 Silverado. I noticed that I might have to buy a dust cover if I want. I've read some things about the neutral safety switch and/or gear selector but I am confused on the issue. I originally had a 4l60E and wanted the install to be a "bolt in" swap as much as possible.

Should I send it back and ask for a newer model?
What are you opinions on this?

It might not have the bolt hole bosses around the shift selector shaft for the switch, depends on the year. The selector shaft might be too short but that can easily be changed out if the bolt holes for the switch are there. Thats the only big thing I can think of. The only other thing is you will have one less bolt hole to bolt it to the engine.

Yes. That should bolt right up. Switch and all.

So what if you need a PNP switch and they built it out of a 1992 case? How do you bolt the switch up with no holes or bosses for holes?
