Default Build for future lq9 in 96 c1500

hey everyone, currently have a 96 c1500 and tranny went out. I plan on doing on lq9 swap in the near future and want the tranny to hold up. I’ve read and some have just have he transgo kit and servo, and seem to hold up with the ls1 in the camaros. I don’t think that will hold up in my truck since I’m going to weigh around 1000lbs more and 30 inch tires. I got a quote for the rebuild with the transgo shift kit and corvette servo, not convinced that setup will hold up. This will be my DD and used for everything a truck is meant for (specially smashing thru the mud). Any suggestions or added upgrades I should get? Been looking into getting the accumulator pistons replaced as well but don’t know what to get.....help!!

Read this thread start to finish.

The last few pages have lots of good parts lists, and good advice.
