Default 6l80 to 4l80 wiring conversion???

Hi all

I’m in the process of installing a gen 4 6.0/4l80 combo in my 69 Chevelle. The harness I have was from a truck with a 6l80e. Any cheap ideas on converting it. Preferably re-pinning and changing the connector, can find any decent diagrams online. I’m not running cruise or trans temp. Thanks!

LT1swap.com

Are you using the T42 TCM? If so, you should have an easy go of it...either finding a trans harness in a junkyard/used. Jolt, painless, current, etc. all can build TCM harnesses. or you can repin/build your own using LT1 swap.

You'll of course need to tune the TCM to pair with the 4l80e

Have just started researching the same swap for mine. It's simple getting the wiring diagrams for the t42/4l80 but finding diagrams for the 6l80 wiring is a little more difficult. $1k for a swap harness is crazy...
