I wonder about the difference between a single and triple disc in tq ?

What is the difference between them And does the triple disc reduce the life of the transmission? and Can I use the car daily with it triple?
If the triple disc does not reduce the life of the transmission, and the car can be used on a daily basis with it Do I need a flywheel after market ?

 

it just adds more friction surface so you can lock the converter under WOT or while towing heavy.

you can daily a car with a multi-disc lock up system.

it should not decrease the life of the trans, unless of course being able to lock at WOT means you will abuse it more

speak with your converter manufacturer about what flexplate is needed for you application

 

Just a stronger clutch in the converter. It's a good thing. I won't run anything but a triple disc converter in the diesel transmissions that I build.

 

so can i run triple disk in stock 4l60e with daily drive ? without any issue

 

Yessir... I do it every day (well, almost every day). Worst thing that would happen is an extra firm lockup.
