Gear endplay in OD planetary?

Gear endplay in OD planetary?

The gear endplay tolerances are .010" to .025" and mine measures .022"

Should I rebuild and replace the washers and needle bearings or send it?

I can't feel any roughness on the race or the bushing journal but they aren't the shiniest. The thrust bearing has no pitting and is smooth.

Dino, he meant instead of moving the pinion gears up/ down on the pins...

try to rock the pinion gears on the pins to see if there is any wear there.

Correct, I worded it poorly, was sitting on a bench at Dicks Sporting Goods at the time lol. What a insane **** show mad house it is out there today shopping

Yes, there is play when you move them up and down, but not side to side. This much play to be exact

Since there is no side to side rock, it's good to go?

Up/ down is fine...

Rocking/ diagonal movement is no good.

Looks good from the video at least... you have to be the one to feel for any rocking...
