NOTE:
Many Delphi Connectors are offered with a Pre-Installed Adhesive.
The Purpose of the Adhesive is to make the Electrical Connection Sealed, and Nigh-Permanent.
The Two Connectors above are offered with Adhesive, or without...
Each Version (pertaining to use of Adhesive) has a different corresponding Part-Number.
Most all Vehicles produced with this Style PNP-Switch, will have these Two Connectors installed with Adhesive.
Many People unknowing have attempted to remove these Connectors from the PNP-Switch... Only to break the Switch and Connectors.
Use of a Heat-Gun, has shown to often allow the removal of these Connectors without damage.

Correct 2009 and Newer Transmissions are not compatible with Holley EFI.
You would need to essentially convert the Transmission into a 2007-2008 Spec. Unit.
You would need to use the following new Parts:
-use a 2007-2008 Valve-Body and Manual-Valve.
-use a 2007-2008 External Transmission Wiring Harness.
-use a 2007-2008 Internal Transmission Wiring Harness.
-use a Fluid pressure manifold/ switch assembly.
-use a 3-2 Control Solenoid.
-use the 2007-2008 Manual Selector Shaft, Rooster-Comb, and Internal Parking Linkage.
-use an External Park/ Neutral and Reverse lights switch assembly.
-use External Wiring for the above Switch Assembly.
I see the 4l70E 2009+ has been added to the Holley Terminator X V2 software.
Is this then no longer required if someone would want to use this?
Thanks for all this information btw, very helpful.
The 2009+ Model-Year Transmissions use Hardware that was NOT compatible with Holley EFI...
If something has changed, it would be on Holly's End (Nothing has changed on GM's End)...
Thus Confirmation on their part is essential.
Good luck!
So if I have a 2005 Yukon Denali that need a transmission and use a unit from a 2002 Escalade, everything should work as long as the neutral safety switch is replaced with the newer single plug version correct?
So I'm helping my brother swap a 2004 4l60e into a 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4. We got it all done except it's has no 3rd gear, is this a problem with the wiring or a problem with the transmission? Thanks
P.S. I know this is a Camaro/Firebird form, but this thread seems to be the only place I can find with this info

From one of vorteciroc’s post.
“The Breakdown is as follows:
4L60E productions runs for model year interchangeability are:
-1993 only
-1994 only
-1995 only
-1996 - 2000
-2001 - 2006
-2007 - 2008
-2009 - 2013/ 2014
Note: 4x4 4l60e units are not a direct swap with 2 wheel drive units...”
(Credit Vorteciroc)
So, I would say that the two transmissions are not compatible.
vorteciroc, I have just read this thread absolutely so much amazing info thank you so much for your time! I have a NP 241 C for my 4l60e for my LS swap. Would you be able to tell me the part number for the connectors on it for the VSS and the 4wd switch? When i got it , all it was is tcase and no connectors, thank you!
Also I have a 99 LM7 from a silverado for my swap and i can get a 2007 silverado "CLASSIC" 4l60e will it work with my stock wire harness? Everybody says yes but i think you would know for sure.
Just Post some Images here of what you have...
(This way I can Match the Connectors to the Parts you are using).
And I will reply with what you are looking for.
Hey thanks for the reply and the help!! The broken one is the 4lo and the other is the VSS on the NP 241 C passenger drop from a 1991 suburban 27 spline and guessing but dont know for sure 5.7L, Thanks!
Unless you are going to DIY a Sub-Harness/ Transfer-Case Electrical Harness Assembly...
I am just going to Post the Electrical Connector Repair "PigTails" for you.
The Vehicle Speed Sensor Pigtail is: ACDelco #PT2298:
The Transfer-Case Low-Range Position Switch Pigtail is: ACDelco #PT2140:
I am sorry to say that, I should have already included/ Posted this Information (in this Thread)...
