Default Transmission intermittent issue?

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500. I bought the truck with a freshly rebuilt bulldog transmission truck ran fine for a few thousand miles until I started pulling my boat. So early in the morning on the way to the boat ramp truck runs fine. Now leaving the boat ramp the truck starts in 3rd gear I believe and has no power it will slowly creep in rpm with pedal to floor until it shifts to 4th. It only does this from a dead stop. Truck has no trans codes. Just some rear o2 codes where do I start?

Start with the O2 codes. These codes could be throwing the trans into limp mode.

Thanks, going to trouble shoot the o2 codes then go from there.

Starting in 3rd sounds like limp mode,, but then you get codes and it won't shift to 4th.
Any chance water got into e.g. the trans connector while unload/loading the boat?

Rear tires never touch water. O2 codes are p0060 and p0161 it's bank 2 sensor 2. Going to look into it more today. From my understanding these o2s are on trans power.

A rear o2 was bad, replaced that. Also the shift linkage was on incorrect, fixed that. I didn't realize but the shifter wouldn't go down to 1 it does now. Taking boat to river tonight which is half distance I usually travel to go offshore but should be a good test.

Ok truck is doing same thing but now I'm getting both knock sensor low frequency codes again. I just replaced both sensors with ac Delco part and wire harness not long before I started towing. Ughhh. Am I able to just get them tuned out ? Or did I over tighten them my 1/2" torque wrench didn't go low enough.
