4l80 cooler line pressure

I did the tcc mod as vorteciroc explained in a previous thread. I’m seeing 20psi cooler pressure cruising unlocked, locked and spooled up on brake. Is that low enough to cause converter slip?
I know th400 with dump valves effect the converter under 40psi

elaborate on the mod you did.
Where are you measuring the pressure
and what are you using to monitor the pressure?

Update- I was measuring the wrong port. 🤦🏻‍♂️
All good now. 40 with epc 125 line and 50 at max 200 locked and unlocked.

The mod consists of grinding a land off tcc valve and plugging regulated apply.

kinda like lonnie has you do it but also block regulated apply? interesting.

probably not gonna wanna lock the converter on the dyno in that config

that is half the mod
if that's the only half that's been shared, the results you're seeing are to be expected

what else did you do to the pump?

Maroon monster definitely shares tons of mods and info. He probably has posted it before, but it does get hard to keep track of all the mods, and where to find them. A buddy of mine has a whole folder we put together on the few builds we have done.
