Default Yank Converters SS3600

Hey guys so long story short I've had a Yank converter in my H/C/1 Formula for over 12 years, Great Converter but in the last couple years been trying to diagnose a problem where to car dose not want to rev past 3800 - 4100 rpm. Now before thinking its the converter we went threw the possible list of issues that it can be like fuel pressure, fuel filter/sending unit, o2 Sensors, bad ground, clogged cat, clogged injector, MAF, TPS and no engine lights. Before this issue my converter was having trouble locking up (studdering really bad during lock up) but weirdly enough that symptom disappeared, was functioning normal for awhile until it just stopped revving past those rpms.
Two Questions, Has anyone had an issue like this that was stall related? Also was looking to get the same converter again but I cant get ahold of Yank. They have two numbers on their website but it leads to a voice-mail that is full so you can leave a message. Should I just go with Circle- D because I don't want to order a stall from their website and have to wait months for it to come in, Does Dave still work there. has there reputation gone down over the years(Customer Service), dug up some post where where customers waiting for months to get their converter. Any recommendations on other brands?

BY chance did you email them???

The last convertor I ordered in 2021, I dealt with them through Email and usually got a response within 1 business day. I think my last convertor from them was like 2-3 weeks to build with the current global economy and also they were having a sale at that time as well.

Haven’t emailed them yet, when I ordered my yank converter years ago did it over the phone, if that’s the only option I’ll email them but I’m might look into fti or circle d if that’s the case, thanks

For the RPM limit issue, did you look at the crank and cam sensors? I’ve seen an issue in the past with a failing crank sensor that limited RPM to 6100RPM.

For the lock up stuttering, I’ve had this issue and it turned out to be a failed O ring on the input shaft that slips into the converter.
