Default 6l80e builders in here?

I got 1 I just repaired tht is giving me a fit. I've built alot of these and this is the first for me. Bad converter trashed unit. Opened up and 456 clutches were smoked. Replaced both pistons with new steels and frictions. All other packs looked great and checked out fine. Did a new pr valve and transgo tcc kit with new pressure switch seals/film. Installed truck shifted amazing. Only issue is a bad delay from park to drive or reverse. Sometimes bangs in 1st. When Cold it goes right in gear. After a short test drive Once warm is acts up. I'm leaning toward a bad techum. Thoughts?

A this point, it has to be something mechanical. Have you dropped the pan yet?

2017. I did a repair/fix job on this unit. Like I said all clutches looked great no heat etc. Just the 456 stack up was burnt. Customer said about the time trans took a **** the truck started acting up with the warm drive issue. This unit had a bad converter as well which probably led to the 456 clutch going out to. I did order a new techum so I'll get it on this week and go from there.

I asked about clearance because large clearance can cause delayed garage shifts.
Also, I'd check the 1234/35r drum for cracks and double/triple check your assembly. Make sure no cracks in pistons or drums. Those O rings in the drum are easy to roll or cut on install.
Etc
