Torque converter vibrations?
Both the 4l80e and 6l80e are bigger than a 4l60e. Possibly the case is hitting the tunnel or something like that.
Or Torque-Converters that have a Lock-Up Triple/ Multi-Disc solution...
Are very often noisy or make vibratory noises; it is normal.
However Stock type Torque Converters should not make those types of noises.
A draging Lock-Up Clutch can be caused when there is not enough Fluid flow or pressure to Hold the Clutch Off.

I talked to the transmission builder and Circle-D. Neither of them have heard of this issue with the 6L80. Circle-D obviously knows about this issue in a 4L80, but they said the 6L80 is different. They suggested that there might be a torn seal or a bad solenoid somewhere.
