Hi everyone,
my transmission seems to work fine in every gear but have an extreme slipping in every gear. Seems to be a scooter variator, if you accelerate rev to 6000rpm instantly. Put a transgo kit because TV valve stick sometimes but nothing change. So presume that the torque converter have an extreme fault. I put out the trasmission to change the converter and notice that the sun gear does not move by hand. The small input shaft yes. So my question is if is normal that the sun gear does not move? It move only with other parts in movement?

I'm pretty sure that's normal what you put in the circle. That part is called the pump stator and is fixed (doesn't rotate).

 

That is the pump stator and it will not turn. All of what you see splines into the converter itself. I think converter turbin splines to that (items 7-12) and has a one way clutch inner race (item 15 thats attached to 14) that splines to the input shaft. Thank you, now i understend better how the converter works! Was an enigma how the converter transfer and not slipping in all the spinning in it. Never realize that have a stator.
Now i m pretty sure that the converter is my problem .Car with brake applayed does not stall, rev maybe with a little esitation and with some strange noises.
