This will be the Final Racing Season for Myself to experience my Son's Racing Program.

As some of you know, I have been unwell/ unhealthy for the last almost two years.

My family started a Support Drive/ Go Fund Me Drive that about 12 people (Most of which were all of you guys) generously donated to.
Thank you to all of you from the bottom of my heart, there are no words that can convey the extent of my gratitude!

Unfortunately the Support Drive/ Go Fund Me Drive was a failure, and I was not able to have the Operations that I require.
I was give an approximation of life expectancy...

September - December is the expected expire date.
Which will make this Racing season the last that I will be able to experience with My Son and his Racing Program.

I begged many of the Builders on the Forum for help purchasing Transmission Parts...
Unfortunately No One was able to help at the time.

I understand that times are tuff for many shops... I guess I didn't realize things were so bad.
I'm so embarrassed to have asked for help.

I have run out of time to build a proper Transmission for My Son for the Season.

So I am asking any and all of the Forum Members if they can donate any Used Parts for a 4L80E Transmission.

I don't care about the condition of the parts... worn out or broken.
Hopefully I can make one good Component from many bad pieces.

what do you need and where are you located

 

Hmm I do have a complete 80e minus valve body I will see if it fesable to ship . supposedly low milage late model , You are welcome to it if i can work that out, As for people helping, I don't think that its so much things are slow as most shops i interact with are actually behind , But people have changed over the last decade or so, Not as giving as they once were attitudes are different. But I will look around and gladly send whatever i can feasibly PM me an address. I wish I could offer more but still in starting over phase so all the extra I get has to go right back into tools equipment and trying to out back some sort of savings. I had a whole different plan for my autumn based on promises trust and loyalty as they say however I learned poo in one hand wish in the other lol. .
But will do what i can when ever I can for you as possible as you have ben a very long time and informative member of the LS1tech community .

Ok I will get started on preparing it to ship as soon as I have an address from him or a location of a fastenal would be most practical to ship to if he has one near .
The unit I have is supposedly a good working unit, the guy pulled pan to install shift kit then changed mind and decided to just have me build him one instead and he gave me it fo a core, The units complete together minus the valve body but most of the VB seems to be in box ill send it separate .

 

Just saying ‘whatever parts you have’ isn’t helpful for me. If you have something specific or I’d be willing to drop ship a part or parts you need in the $100 range to contribute.

UPDATE on core I am sending . Gonna strap it to pallet today , The core is complete and pretty clean with exception is VB being off it, Will send the VB components and bolts in separate BOX UPS ground.
