4L60e troubles

4L60e troubles So I just am finishing the swap on my 1984 c1500 put a gen 3 5.3 in it with a 4L60e trans. I went to drive it today and it doesn’t want to shift. Then when I shift it manually “with the column shifter” it shifts into 3 then I give it gas and there nothing. If I stab the throttle I get nothing like a 2ed neutral. Could this be a solenoid gone bad or a clutch pack? Please help me 🙏

Sounds kinda like something wrong with the 3-4 clutch pack or the various control circuits in the valve body that actuate it.
Prob not a solenoid, butt ... can't totally rule it out.
I've also come across situations where a sprag installed backwards can cause weird stuff like this. Has this transmission EVER worked since it was last built, or is this a fresh rebuild?

No it has never worked to what I’ve seen just drove it for the first time and doesn’t shift.
Just a gen 3 5.3 with a truck Norris cam. My Ecm has been tuned just a bench tune at the moment though.
It is used as my daily driver, never tow anything with it just hauls my dirtbike. Haven’t hauled anything with the new motor and trans thought.

First thing is to see if shifts are being commanded, Also to check 3-4 clutch integrity , unplug harness and manually shift you should be able to start in 2nd and manually shift to 3rd
