53. with 4l65E driving through brakes.
94 Jeep wrangler with L33 5.3 and a 4l65E trans, with a NP241 transfer case running through axles geared with 4.56 and 33" tires.
Engine and trans being managed by a terminator X max, Lokar sport shifter so I can use the tap to shift functions to stay in selected gear off road.
I bought a local rebuilt transmission that they make for trucks and offroad vehicles, The Jeep still has stock brakes.
At idle in D or R , I have to use pretty solid brake pressure to keep it from rolling away, been trying to decide if it's just wimpy brakes, or if I need a higher stall.
I believe the current stall is about 2400.
Its enough pedal effort that I kinda worry if my wife tried to drive it..
I eventually had planned on a front brake upgrade.
Suggestions? Thoughts?

Stock cam or one with more duration? Idle speed?
My 98 Wrangler with a "stock" 2002 LS6/4L60E combo has 4:10 gears. 241R TC. Stock 2002 Camaro converter.
You do need to keep your foot on the brake at a stop light but not really different than a regular car.

I have the "stock" L33 cam, all Aluminum engine.
Yea its not like 2 feet but it definitely has some pull at a stop, I was partially worried it might be beating on the first gear clutch..
My idle is near 850 IIRC.

Yea,, that a possibility ,, Easy enough to try.. I haven't run it through a real cold winter yet so I've been sorta conservative about the settings.
Thing thats been a challenge is there are not any real good general transmission programming guides that I've been able to find. Something that just shows some comparative pressure/rpm/type of stuff. I'm goign to take it for a short run tomorrow and recheck the stall speed..

Thanks,, I'll drop it some and see how it does, I'm a bit paranoid since this is trans #2, I had a leak in a cooler line fitting and didn't know it till it slipped on a long hill on the first drive I took it on over 10 miles. It only leaked under power when the volume was up so never showed in the garage..
