One of the reasons I like VORTECH so much with all his expertise on he literal design he was personally involved with . He still was alway interested in new and better ways. Like My overun mod he liked because of its simplicity and ease to undo if someone disliked the feel.

Dug a little more today, found the 3-2 valve was stuck.and it also had no spring on it

Could cause 2-3 and 3-2 issues .

The 3-2 downshift valve can be blocked in board and it will not affect anything. Actually it's part of TransGo's 4L60E-HD2 kit. The tight wound purple spring. Page 2 step 1 of the attached instructions. @maroonmonsterls1 blocks both the 3-2 downshift valve and 3-2 sequence valve inboard on all 4L60E builds and I block 90% of them myself.
Not sure if it was to be stuck outboard if it would actually do anything. I would have to look at oil diagrams.
One of those 2 valves was eliminated from 2009 and up units, can't remember which right now.

Every unit I have done (which isnt much compared to most on here) I have blocked both 3-2 valves inboard

OP have u made sure the main connector is installed correctly. I know on some LS swap harness u can plug it in backwards and will do funny stuff like u mentioned. I'm not sure about the Holley harness being like this. Always face the arrow outward.

yea thats what o was hoping for and one of the first things I checked with no luck
