Default 6L80E slip yoke - which one?

I found several threads on the subject, but they are older, include multiple options, and most of the links no longer work. I'm working with a L99 - 6L80E out of a 2012 Camaro putting it into a 69 Camaro convertible.

Main question:

I need to replace the current driveshaft to a slip yoke system. Does anyone have a link to the correct slip yoke? Is it as simple as unbolting the removing the current 3 bolt mount, adding the slip yoke, and have a drive shaft company build a new drive shaft?

I have also seen the method of an adapter that mounts to the 3-bolt flange, and then an additional adapter slip yoke device mounts to the drive shaft. With this I'm worried about space and adding addition adapters to the drive line.

Any help is appreciated.

The simplest way is to remove the 3-bolt flange from your 6L80's output shaft and replace it with a standard aftermarket slip yoke. You'll need a specific slip yoke for a 6L80 (like one from Strange Engineering or similar). Then have a driveshaft shop build a new shaft to fit that yoke and your rear end. Avoid the adapter kits if you can; they add length and potential for vibration. Just unbolt the flange, install the correct slip yoke, and get a new shaft made.
