V6-V8 4l60e

Are the 4l60e transmissions the same for 98-2002 v6 f-bodys and 98-2002 ls1s? If not what are the differences? Thanks

i know input shaft is different, as is tq converter and bell housing..

however ive heard internals are the same... so who knows

I believe the input shaft is smaller on the V6 version.

I'd say they are quite different or else the v6 guys transmissions would last a lot longer than ours
