Default Ordered Vig 3200 today

Yep I just ordered my Vigilante 3200 stall from Ls1speed.com. Went to bcuz of this board. Before I purchased it my shop told me to get something of a 3000 stall for my car (02 ws6,3600lbs w/driver,intake,3.73s,qtpcatted headers and ypipe with borla xhaust. ) He told me that a 3200 would be the best so I trusted him.
Now I am on the board again and tried that thing called search and it worked and made me feel a little better about my purchase. So now I have about a week to go before it makes it to my house. BTW I also got 315-35 nitto drag radials out back work good with a small now have to relearn how to launch
Thanx for your help guys time to go get revenge on a few ZO6s.

So what exactly does it do?

Can you feel the difference?

Horsepower increase?

they are like 800 bucks, so it best be good.

The shop said you have to remove the whole transmission and its a bitch.

what do you recommend for a 94z auto

02WS6, you'll love it. If you've not been tuned yet, you'll need it to deal with torque manangement issues. and don't let people tell you that you should of got a tci. Vig's higher efficiency will show itself on the highway

My 1st aftermarket converter was a PI Vig 3200, you'll love it. I regularly cut 1.60 60fts with it and several 1.58 and 1.59s also. Damn good choice.

It basically slips until your motor gets into a certian RPM range which instantly gets you into your power and keeps you there. Dosent increase your horsepower but helps torque - a lot. Yes you will feel the difference.la Besides basic bolt ons it should be one of the first things that you should do. The vig is a good one because you get one free adjustment with it, so if you are stock and get one you can always turn it up later if you go bigger/better with your motor, because generally bigger cams come on the power at higher RPMs. You should be able to find a tranny shop or local speed shop to do it for 250 to 300.

Thanks! So which do you prefer for a 94z? Ill be turboing in January. And what else would you recommend buying with it, since the trans will have to be pulled.

if you are gonna pull the tranny and are FOR SURE adding a power adder, you need to get the tranny beefed up some

Nice choice, I love my VIG, we'll see tonight how much it helped my times out. the highway cruseing is really nice i cant tell its there.

Oh, and you'll defffinatly need some good tires. i just put some Nittos 555s on mine, they hook alright considering there only 275s & it was on the street.
