I just got a ST-3500 and it is amazing. I went from (in the 1/8th mile) 8.4 to 7.7 in just one run!!! Dude, I cant stress enough how great this converter is. It is great from a roll too.. Read my post a few threads down where I described my experience with it. I would definatly get a YANK if I were you, ST-3500 is perfect, and there is one for sale on this forum. My Z is the only car I own and I drive it every day in the city. I am hoping for a 12.3 in the 1/4 mile. I ran a 13.1 average before the stall and headers. The headers were huge too. Make sure you have some drag radials though or you are wasting your time.

If money is no object, go with yank or prescision industries. TCI stalls are good and cheaper. I got .5 tenths out of a VIG 3200 with no loss of mph. And another .5 tenths and 5 mph from LTs/OYP.

I would have agreed with you untill mine failed after 1 year this week.

I'm switching to VIG, 2 year warranty and 1 free restall. That says something about the confidence of the company in their product. (VS 90 days TCI)

Yeah he did, but since I've always had a "chattering" issue with it (which I blamed wrongly on my ex stock tranny), and that now that I got more power and a brand new tranny (FLP Stage 4), I didn't want to take the chance on it messing up again. 1 year life for a $500 part doesn't cut it in my book.

Not to mention that I live overseas and shipping back and forth would cost me another $500 so I decided to switch.

I should have the VIG 3200 in by the end of this month, I'm curious of the difference between the 2 also.
I'll post when all is in after track times.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed, we will see.
In the meanwhile I have no car for 2 weeks

Here were my mods before the converter Corsa Catback, MTI lid/Holley Filter, Fast Toys Ram Air, Global West sub frame connectors
QTP Headers with catted Y pipe, and a ported throttle body and I ran 13.2

added a Yank SS 3800 converter and some tuning and ran this (full race weight 3680lbs in the beginning of the summer I believe)

*EDIT* I am in the left lane
