Default Down shifting harder after TC install.

I've noticed my car downshifting harder after my TCI 3500 install...anyone else have this? It is normal?

Dunno exactly whether I understand your meaning but,
when you downshift under power you are going to flash
that converter up onto its torque multiplication a bit
and that converter does have pretty high multiplication.
That will give you a nice little kick in the pants, but also
ring any play in the driveline.

transmount? sounds more like driveline issues

It doesn't sound like you're describing a problem, but simply as Jimmy said, your converter flashing you into the torque zone ...

You guys are probably right about it flashing under power...I never thought of that! I am just being paranoid I guess.
