Default Ss3800

Going to install my Yank SS3800 on 11/20. Does anyone know what kind of 60' I'll make with street tires? Will be going to the track on 11/27 which is the last weekend of the season but I won't have my nittos in time. Thanks.

2.0 But seriously you need tires to take advantage of any stall. Probably hurt your 60' until you figure out the easing it to it.

Well at least I'll gain a .1 Yeah I know I'll need tires but the track will close before I'll be able to get them. I'll try to practice easing into it which will be for about a week before I go to the track.

Your 60' will suffer probably, get a set of ET streets or at least BFGs

street tires + 3800 stall = NO TRACTION!

Just to give you an example, I had all the same mods as I do now without the vig 3800 and I could floor it on the street and have no tire spin. I have a few mods to help me with traction and bfg drag radials. Now that I got the vig in there I can't go more than 75% throttle with out spining like crazy. Even going 30mph I break the wheels loose if I floor it. I'm waiting to get my BMR extreme torque arm. I'm hopeing it will help.

I'm going to try to get 2 rims and get a set of Nitto DRs. Hopefully I can get them in time.

I would either get BFGs or ET streets, you wont hook on nittos

I only have 2.73s in the back, won't have as much traction problems like if I had 3.73s back there.

I think you might get lucky with a 1.9 60'. With some bald nittos I was able to cut 1.7 60's with my SS3800, but I know street tires are a little worse that that.
