Default need Help ASAP

hey guys, My g/f has a 95 V6 a4 camaro. It will not shift out of park due to I think the shift lock solenoid? The one where you have to hit the brake to shift. I need to know if I can remove it and where is it located?? thanks in advance!

Pull the top off the center console. Locate the lock out solenoid at the fron of the shifter area. Take a screwdriver and pry the arm off the shifter disconnect the connector and locate the nearest trashcan.
