The jump from a 3200 Vigi to a 4000+ Yank PT is unreal. Trust me.

Talking

I had my Vig 3600 Installed today [w/o shift kit] and had everything tuned... takes more pedal to get upto speed [normal acceleration] but mash the pedal half way and the rpm needle jumps to almost 4000 rpms!!!

Slacker: did you dyno your ride after the TC ? Just curious what #s you're putting down

Vig makes a great converter. Excelent customer service too. I've been able to pull off 1.80 60' on street tires feathering it. Runs about mid 12's with sticky tires still on my stock manifolds.

I've never had it on the dyno. Once its above its stall speed it does not seem any less efficient than a stock converter. on highway races I had a butt dyno improvement with the vig, mainly in 3rd gear due to my 4800 rpm shift extension with it. On street tires i went from a 13.1 @ 106 to a 12.9 106. On the 12.9 i was lucky to be wot by the 60' b/c of lack of traction so either way, the torque gain offsets any hp loss.

I haven't been to the dyno yet, Planning to go next month to lean it out on the top end. What help me out was the Mickey DR's, 16psi, Flash from idle=
