Default Converter?

My car stalls sometimes when I put it in gear especially when cold. This is due to the cam. Once it's in gear, it runs fine. Will putting a stall converter on cure this problem?

I see you have a cam in the car, with unknown specs. I dont think a converter will help the problem any. Either need some more tuning tweaks or you just need to let it warm up/idle a little longer before you put it in gear.

Doesn't a stall converter convert stalls to no-stalls?

With the stock converter, the car wants to jump as soon as I put it in gear which makes the revs drop. Won't a stall converter prevent that?

A converter should definitely help. But you should want a converter to go faster, not just to fix a stalling problem.

i hope you bought your ca like that instead of doing all of that work to it before you did a stall. but i think you should definatly get a stall. you will not reget it.

I know the converter will make the car quicker but I just want to know if will stop the car from lurching when I put it in gear causing the revs to drop?

If your car is lurching hard and that's causing it to stall, a converter will definitely help. Will also probably make the biggest gain in performance for you also.
