Yank SS3600 lockup behavior
when in 4th gear it doesnt always lock up , sometimes it does... and sometimes it doesnt .... I got the urge to put the cap on the exhaust cutout and drive it around for a while last night .... on my way to take a few night pictures i noticed it had locked up in 4th constantly. Anyone else find this odd? My gas mileage has been hurting alot since I put the TC, some due to driving behavior , but even when im trying to conserve fuel, its not happening.
Anyone got any solutions to this? Do I need to have a few things tuned to have this problem correct? All replies are greatly appreciated

Misfires above some threshold make the PCM unlock the
converter. A lightweight converter is prone to raise the
number of (false, perhaps) misfire detects. Raising the
fault threshold for misfire counts to somewhere above
your observed baseline, is the fix. Some people jack it
all the way up to 32000 or 32767 but this eliminates the
safety mechanism (not really wanting the driveline hard-
coupled if you're really bucking).
