Big Converter's & Shiftpoints...
I have Andy Wheelers (Azzkicker)old #7 pump in my car now and the the current shiftpoints are +4 on the 1-2 and +3 on the 2-3..
I shift at 6300 but may raise it to 6400 or 6500 depending upon my dyno tuning results.

It always comes down to how high you need to buzz the motor to have good shift recovery.

John I understand what you are saying because running Andy's #7 pump converter the car doesn't drop RPM's between shifts as bad as the Yank 3000 I had before...
Were having another F Body get together at Eunice in a couple of weeks so I'll try some new settings then..

Man I know what you are talking about !! I'm planning on Thunder doing some work for me in a couple of months and also having Geoff Skinner do some tuneing on the car..Also get rid of the dreaded T/M ..
