Default no downshift before WOT? need to tune?

well i just got my car tuned on a dyno chassis.. and the only problem i am having besides idle is that when i floor it from a roll.. my tranny never downshifts so it never kicks back real hard like it used to.. Doesn't drop a gear before engaging WOT.. and i am not sure if that can be tuned differently with LS1 edit? or if thats something that can't really be adjusted?

I have an F11 cam and a Vig 3200.. Anybody know what to do with this? i miss my tranny kickin down and throwing me back from a roll going about 40 or so.. thanks!

you should be able to adjust the shift points (and downshift points) with hptuners/ ls1edit. example- i can make my car stay in 2nd gear from 15mph (or wherever) and never kickdown to first very easily with hptuners.

first off verify you are hitting 100%tps, if you are not it may not kickdown like you were used to. if you are 100%tps then get it tuned.

will it read if its 100% tps on ls1edit as he is tuning it? i'm definately going to take my car out with the laptop hooked into it as i run and let him adjust the shift points and check everything else.. probabaly be the most accurate way to do it..

Take it back to where u got it tuned. If they dont fix your problems for free...you took it to the wrong place. A good shop will fix you up if you get your car tuned and it doesnt run right afterward. Oh an yea.....the clock is ticking on that 4l60e...tick tock tick tock...lol

it depends at what speeds you are going WOt, if i nail it at 30 my car will downshift but if i nail it at 25 or 35 it won't.

hmmm maybe i'll just have to adjust it as we drive around with the lab top hooked up.. and see what happens from there.. and if it doesn't run good after that.. then i don't know..
