I recently installed a Yank ST-3500 in my '01 Z28. I love the converter. I am cutting 1.60 60 fts. and it shaved off almost .70 off of my ET. However, occaisionally am getting as SES light and the car goes into limp-home mode. I hooked up the AutoTap and got a P0757 DTC, which says 2-3 shift solenoid B stuck on.
I'm thinking maybe that the computer is reading that something is not "normal" with the tranny since the converter has been changed and the ST-3500 slips for periods before going into overdrive/lockup. Is this normal for the ST-3500 or any converter?
Any help is appreciated.

MMiller... one time, I got a SES light while going up a hill. When I scanned, it, I got a code for "shift solenoid stuck on" (I forget the code #). The car was running fine, however, from when I set the code to when I got to my destination about 5 miles away. I scanned it there, and after clearing the code, it never showed back up. My friend, who is a transmission guy in a Chevy dealership, said to take it in if it happens again.
That's about all I have to share, but just wanted you to know, I've gotten it too.

Don't take it to the dealer. Unless they are really cool, they won't touch it if they find an aftermarket converter.
I've them once or twice; just clear them and go. some people have found that using D3 instead of D4 in town eliminates the issues.

mmiller, did you try a search under my username on the "other board"?
I ran into the exact same issues that you describe, feel free to e-mail me for more info if you like.

I had that SES light come on for me too, same code. I just reset it with an Auto Tap and everything was alright!! Hope that helps.

I've never had that code in the past year + of having my 'verter. But it's a SY3500 though...
I get that code just about twice a month and I'm thinking of putting the stock converter in for the winter to see if code comes back and if it does its going to the dealer.Normally will pull over and cut car off for a few seconds and then start it back up and runs fine for a couple miles like 500-600.
You can fix the problem easily by switching the converter.. I've had the Vig since September and have no issues since I got rid of the Yank. Thank God for PI...

Hey Matt, is Steve getting the same codes as well? I know that both of yall were having issues before, but I thought you guys had it solved. BTW I cut a 1.59 with my wimpy Vig 3200! Good luck, sorry no help.
