Find the switch labeled ASR. press it, its off. (ASR OFF Illuminates on the gauge cluster, light in switch goes out)

If you don't have a switch, you don't have ASR. Switch is one of the two over the radio.

its nice in rain slicked or ice'n'snowed roads. else i leave it off.

I have to turn it off each time. I'd rather to that than have to turn it on when i need it.

Do you have the ASR switch up by your camaro plaque above the radio? If so, push it to turn it off. If you don't have that, you don't have traction control.

Or SLP sells a switch that allows you to reverse it. You put in this little thing and it allows you to turn it "ON" instead of off each time you start the car.

I'm confussed so your telling me because I dont have the switch I dont have traction control. If im confussed I believe all camaro's come stock with traction control but only some auto's came with the feature to turn this off??.

I was puzzling over how the SLP changer thing could work and tried an experiment. If I hold the ASR switch in when I start the car it stays off and comes on the next time I punch the switch. The switch is obviously momentary and either NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) so you can either change the switch to the opposite kind or use a small relay in the line to invert the sense. For instance, if the switch in NO and grounds a pin on the PCM (or BCM) then use an NC relay and open it with the switch. Presto ... ASR is normally off but can be turned on when you want it (like winter maybe).

You are correct, you DONT have TC. Only cars with the switch have TC (not all came with em).
