I chose Livernois because they answered all my questions and seemed to know there stuff! Plus they are ten mintutes from my home.

get it tuned and get torque management removed. you are right it is the y pipe that is ticking, i had the same problem and had it tightened.

Well, I got under the car yesterday and repositioned the y (had more banging than usual after the verter install) and tightened everything down to the best of my ability. Ticking is still there. I can see some condensation leaking where the two halves of the y-pipe slip together. So obviously there is a leak there.

What can I do short of welding the y-pipe together? I've heard of muffler cement, but I don't want anything permanent or anything that will make removing and installing a pain in the ***.
