Default trying to find flexplate and converter for th400

i was looking at torque converters on summit and the one i want needs to have a 168 tooth flexplate. well, i found the plate but and says it is for a 99 ls1 but it is only 156 tooth.

so i searched and found a flexplate with 165 teeth for a 5.7 but its for years 94 and older. this should work right? i was told to find a "dual pattern (LS1/Small Block Chevy)flex plate" It only said dual pattern on the desciption. Is this what I should be looking for?

I dont know much about trannys and stuff, so if im coming off as dumb, I am with this subject. If anyone has done this conversion and understands my problem get back to me.

I used a TCI ls1 flexplate and a Vig torque converter built for a t400 for my T400 install. Everything fit.
