Yank SS4000
Hey guys, I see a few of y'all have this convertor. I wondering what you though I would gain with it. I saw where one of y'all took .3 off your 60 ft. That's really good. I'm ordering one today and I am going to build the trans while I got it out. Right now on Kumho street tires I've ran the best of a 12.79@109 with a 2.0 60 ft. I've got 3:73's and a tune. And a few other small bolt-ons. Thanks!

Naw man, Times are real, I couldn't believe it either. I've got a tune, 3:73's, airlid, cut-out, air filter, subframes, re-location brackets, control arms. I've tried Nitto's but it bogged the car real bad. I just run on those kumho 712's. I only had a 2.0 60ft. on that run. Hope I can cut some of that off with the convertor and some good tires. I don't have headers yet, that's next. I'm stock weight. Still got the manifolds and factory y pipe. I've gutted the cats though.

Your times are better than mine! I have been a 12.83@110mph. I lost a mph but gained some ET this past thursday night. Your car doesn't bog on those BFG's?

Car has never bogged at the track...My car was thought of as pretty strong, but when you get headers, your gonna be looking at 12.6 maybe even 12.5 with a converter and drag radials, your gonna be knocking on 11 seconds door. :haha: Great times man, keep up the work, tell me your results as I will do the same for you when I get mine in.

i drive this one every day also.... at the track i run the 255/45 Mt Dr's and pull the driver side tire.... I hit a 1.56 60ft with stock internals. it hits soo hard off the line i have a hard time not hitting the rev limiter from 1-2.... 7.77 is my best so far dropped my 60 ft .32 and i did run a 8.13 now a 7.77 in the 8th.... full interior except for jack/tire.
250 miles per tank....
I will be selling mine soon though... because i will be switching to a th350...

I plan on running MT's radials, Blacker, what tires are you running? I just hope this 10 bolt will hold up until I get a 12 bolt. I'm going to run it again tonight, I pulled the sway bar off yesturday to see if it makes a difference. I'll be gald when the convertor comes in though. Thanks for the info guys. Can't wait to see what it does.

I improved 0.30 off my 60' with my Yank ST3800, (2.73 rear) stalled to 3400 on nitto drag radials. I think i can get it down a little more removing the swaybar, adding LCA's, and trying to stall it higher
