Best way to mount tranny cooler?
Thats how I had my old one.
Do you have yours with the inlet/outlet facing down?
Just thought I heard some people mount it vertically with the b&m.
Thanks
Casey

From: Live Oak, FL - in the woods where the creatures lurk.
I initially had my B&M shoved up about as far as I could get it, but the radiator had to be repaired after a crash. I decided to re-install it all the way down on pass side so as to block less air between the front "shroud" and the condensor. Mine is installed with the fittings facing up, and I dremeled a hole in the plastic at the top/side passenger side big enough for the lines to fit through and snaked them between the batt and the radiator.

I did mine the same as shown in this post. I may try to make it sturdier later on but it has worked just fine so far with countless brushes over parking blocks with my car lowered.
It's a pretty easy install once you decide where your're gonna mount it. This place is especially good for people with the FTRA already.

Mine has the tubes exiting down. The unit is mounted in front of the condenser to the support frame. It’s the first thing that hits the air.
