Between LS1Tech and the "other board," we have sold nearly 100 converters. Additionally, before we sold these converters on these boards, we sold converters over the internet, through our web site and on EBay. We also sold the converters locally before this. Additionally, I see diesel truck converters through another business.

I have had ONE converter returned to me so far. We sent him a new converter immediately. When we got his converter back, we opened it up. It was inspected and found to be in great shape with no design flaws. There was nothing wrong. The newer converter has a slightly higher stall, and he is pleased with it.

We have had 2 other converters with possible problems. We sent out new converters to these people as soon as the converters could be built. One converter may have a turbine spline problem. We have not received the converter back yet, so we have not had a chance to inspect it. We have updated the turbine spline design, and it is now practically bulletproof.
The other, we assume the clutch has burned out from a transmission problem. The guy had transmission problems before, and a problem with the converter will not cause it to lock by itself. As we haven't seen the converter yet, we cannot say exactly what caused the problem. We sent him a new converter under warranty because we cover damage caused by outside factors. We stand behind our product no matter what.

The only other problems anyone has ever had are pulse-width modulation and other tuning issues, which happen with any kind of converter, and can be fixed with tuning or a shift kit. To fix these problems, which are not really our problems at all, we have sent free parts and free shift kits to those who have decided not to get tuning because we want our customers to be happy.

Customers get back to us everyday raving about their converters and our customer service. For some reason, the only unsatisfied "customers" seem to be people who don't believe there can be more than one brand of good converter. But we are happy with our product, as are our customers.
I have yet to get mine installed (don't want to try it by myself and can't get help yet), but it should be in within a week or two.

While I hope it is a good TC, and from others experiences it seems to be so, I can say that Fuddle appears to have the best customer service out of any company I talked to, which is pretty sad for the big guys like Yank considering they are charging a lot more and providing less. Every post you see about problems with a Yank converter, Yank gets defensive and from the posts I have seen, charge a lot to get things fixed.

I haven't seen this problem with TCI/Vig but I haven't dealt with them personally being that I chose to buy a Fuddle instead.

The bashing of less expensive TCs because they are just that is dumb in my opinion, and lots of people here do it. If I would have got a Yank I wouldn't bash TCI without experience with them, and I fail to see why a lot of people here do that exact same thing.

Anyway I wish john and Fuddle the best, if you guys keep providing such great customer service, I know you will go far!

Well I'm going to grill you until I decide to buy group purchase or not I'm still leaning towards your converters.
Just can't afford it yet.
To make matters worse wednesday my home pc got blown up in a lightning storm, I'm at the library right not so I have to get a new computer
So that set me back. You'll be around when I'm ready to order so I'm not worried.

I've done 1.9 on the factory BFG's on my 2002 Camaro SS. It's got a lid, LM exhaust, transgo kit. Thats it.
I wonder how much better it could do....

I have my nice little fuddle sitting here in my room still, damn if I know anyone who can help me install this thing. I might just have to save up $250 and have someone install it at this rate.

I know we left messages and talked to you on the phone, but I just want to make sure you got the tracking number.

Looks like if my interview goes well and I get a second job, I'll be the next to get one. I have been keeping up with John and Fuddle for over a month now but I have heard nothing but good things and experienced great service. Can't wait till I get that $$!
