Sounds good..
I am planning on getting mine next week.. The guy sounds descent and from what I have read and decent verter as well. Not bad at all for the price. Planning on a 3800-4000 stall with maybe a 2.6-2.7 STR. After the verter/cooler/shift kit/guage are all in its time for a nice cam and maybe some 3:73's.
Let me know as I might wait till I find out more info though.

I should have my car back tomorrow. I had a 3600/2.2str installed along with some 3.73's. I spoke to the driveline shop yesterday and the converter went in with no problems. I have also purchased Convo pro rims with Nitto DRs and skinnys up front so Im hoping to get some new times in my sig this summer. I will let everyone know how the converter is by the end of the week. I will have to break in the rearend before I can fully test out the TC.

I got it done today. I put about 100 miles or so on it and the lock up works great. Just taking off about 1/4 throttle the rpms stay right around 2900-3100. So then i did some WOT runs, the car is alot faster then before. The pull is so much hard now. I'm running 315's nitto's, before off idle hammer down it didn't spin a tire. Now off idle, if you keep it to the floor it spins on the way through first. I'm going to the track friday if we don't get rained out. Before i ran
motor n/a
60ft. 2.109
1/4 13.39
mph 104

100 shot
60ft. 2.153
1/4 12.29
mph 118.40

before
n/a motor
60ft 2.153
1/4 mile 13.39
1/4 mph 104

now (only thing changed was converter)
run 1
n/a motor
60ft 1.690
1/4 mile 12.52
1/4 mph 106.83

run 2
n/a motor

This converter is well worth the money. My buddy has a yank converter and didn't pick up this much with it.

NICE... Thanks for the update. I had just ordered mine on Friday. I got the 4000 stall with a 2.5 STR. So, I hope i can hook up as good as you. What tires were you running?

This is good reading, I am hopefully ordering mine Mon, or Tues, as soon as John gets back to me on a few questions. We're going with 3600 2.5 IIRC for the pending turbo to be! Cant wait.

Very impressive numbers! How comparable was the weather between the before and after run? That can have a huge impact!

Pardon my stupid question but what is this "2.1 str" ? I see others with different str numbers. What does it all mean? I'm starting to look into a converter but I want to know more about them. Again sorry for the newbie question
