Loose Converters & N20
I'm thinking about going unNaturally aspirated..
I'm thinking a TP-4000E or maybe a PY-4000E, what's your thoughts?
With my current 3.73 12 bolt and Pro Yank tranny.. figure all I need now is a Kit and the right converter

If you are going 50% nitrous, 50% N/A, then you want a 9" converter with a different stator. A Yank Super Thruster 3500 could be upgraded to Pro Yank Extreme specifications (Kevlar Posi-Lock-up Clutch, 6 bolt mounting lugs, Heavy Duty one-way clutch and sprag). This would be a excellent compromise to running well on motor and on the gas. The ST 3500 would ET better on motor than the Pro Yank 3600E, but it would fall behind on nitrous.
It all depends on how serious you are about running the big numbers on nitrous. If I decide to start getting serious about running the gas, I may wind up getting another Pro Yank 3600 E, like I had in my '00 WS6...man that converter ROCKED on nitrous! It also rocks behind a 422!

Custom LSX tuning in person or via email press here.
It's fairly to do one or the other well... but to excell in both (N/A and U N/A)is not so easy.
Usually you have to give up one to get the other and what happens is neither delivers "STELLAR" performance. Good yes... but not "STELLAR".
There is no "perfect compromise". (IMO)
Right now the plan is to try some computer tuning, then maybe go back too a TP-4400 or something else if my goals change. The UT-4600 really hasn't had a chance to work yet because of all the tuning issues... I do think is a little too big, but I know that it has more in it, I figure a 11.60 easy at my current weight (3350).
I recently tried a 100 wet shot but only managed a 11.8 @ 115.
But I sure love this verter when I run NA.
My Extreme 4400 is just way to big for the 150 shot. As you can see I run 11.5's@116 NA but only run 10.70@125 on the nitrous
I am going to send it back when I get back home and get that stall moved back to about 3600-3800 for the juice.
