Default ? about JW Ultra Bell.....

Ok, so I just received my new Ultra Bell from Jegs to throw onto my turbo 400 to make it legal (and for piece of mind god forbid something were to happen at least I won't loose my legs, hehe) and i'm wondering what all needs to be done to it to get it to fit on the car? I know you have to notch it to clear the top 4 rear cover bolts on the motor which i'm going to do while the bell is still off the tranny and the motor is still out of the car cuz it'll make it a lot easier, but anything else I need to do and that I could do easier while everythings out? Thanks for any help guys, I really appreciate it!

not really all that much to do. luckily i got mine "preclearanced" and fits perfect.

if you look at Derty's install write up for a TH400, you can get a good idea of where you need to grind, just in case you hadn't already seen that.

i think he is talking about the two upper bolt hole "ears" that stick out from the normal curvature of the bellhousing. would be at like 11 o clock and 1 o clock position. i think those are what would normally be used for a Buick-Olds-Pontiac bolt holes.

Aight cool, thanks, so what do I do, just cut 'em off with a sawzall and then smooth 'em out with a grinder?

Aight cool, thanks again! I just didn't know if they would cause any fitment issues or interfere with anything.
