I'd still buy a Yank but this will help you a lot too.
I have an ST3500 coming out of my car as I write this and a Vig3200 going in it's place.
I'll let you know tonight or tomorrow.

Why? Just curious... Did you have an issue with the ST3500?
SES lights, vibration, having do drive on surface streets in 3rd gear all the time... I had enough and decided it was time to get it out of the car and give another converter a try.
Yeah, I had a few issues that don't think a ~$700 converter should have.

Is your car an ’01 or up?

I have went 11.96@113.12 with bolt ons and the 3200 Vigilante and have cut numerous 1.60 60ft.,with the best being a 1.59 before the cam. I'm going to pull mine out around spring for a TP4400 to get the motor to 60ft. harder along with keeping my upshifts higher with the cam.
The 3200 Vigilante ROCKS! It's tame on the streets and hits hard at the track, better have some ET Street or BFG DR's for this converter or you will spin your *** off.
I'm shooting for 11.59@116-117 with this converter this year. Just need to set up my suspension better and get the tires to stick hard.
Best damn mod!
Here's what the vig will do against a stock TC TA

Before the converter myself and this guy traded wins
all season
But it was all over when the Vig 3200 went in
Good luck!
On thing that I have learned, (practiced & tested over & over) is that this converter works best when you launch from 1000-1100 RPM's. It's not like the Yanks, if you rev it up higher than that, you will just roast the tires & it doesnt matter if you have ET streets or slicks. So experiment if you want, but I believe that you will learn that 1100 will give you the best 60's & et's. Do yourself a favor, go straight to the ET streets or Drag slicks. I feel that the BFG & Nittos were a waste of my time for a track tire, but good for the street (rain).
When I installed it, I also got the shift kit put in, & had problems until I sent my computer in to Ed & deleted TM. My guess is that the shift lit threw things out of wack.
Bottom line, you will be happy with the converter. Good luck.
