Default Ordering Converter Single or Triple plate?

Was going to order my Vigilante 3600 Converter here soon, was wondering if it is worth it paying $165 extra to get the tripple plate converter vs the single plate. I plan on using some form of power adder maybe a year or so down the road but just wanted to hear your opinions. I get free Re-Stalls for 2 years! Thanks

If you want to lock it at WOT then get the triple
(or more). If you're going to let it unlock like the
stock tunes do then you aren't going to exercise
the capacity (though towing might). Some folks want
to lock it at the top of 3rd so they can finish in 3rd
at a higher trap, not shift to 4th. With the 3.23 gears
you're not likely to top out 3rd in the quarter mile,
without -mondo- power adder and big base HP as well.

I might be trapping at 130 + someday, but I was just trying to be ahead of the clock by ordering it ahead of time when I need it

I'm also debating the clutch. Would the triple plate be able to hold 750-800 lb ft from a turbo'd 355?

Multi- Disc 3 plate
2400-6000 RPM's

10.5" lock-up 2004R, 700R4, 4L60E, 4L80E
Multi- Disc 3 plate
2400-6000 RPM's

9.5" lock-up 2004R, 700R4, 4L60E, 4L80E
